Doordarshan will not be telecasting the upcoming Indo-Pak cricket series. A great news to many, but not to many who still depend on the National Network. Matches will be shown live on Ten Sports, without feed to DD. The following is a cartoon which appeared in "The Hindu" dated 01.11.06.

Watching cricket in Ten Sports is much better than watching it in DD-1. These guys over at Doordarshan will put up their ads before the over is bowled and as soon as a person gets out, they will put an ad where they shud have shown the action replay... Even the panelists in Ten Sports are good - Sanjay Manjarekar, Imran Khan, and former England captain Nasser Khan...
Yeah true RC...that's why i said it is a great news to many people like us...
Aapeser I think it's former England skipper Nasser Hussein, not Nasser Khan.
