Friggatriskaidekaphobia

Millions of people, especially in the US, suffer from Friggatriskaidekaphobia. Folds appearing on your forehead? Well nothing but the irrational fear of 13th of a month falling on Friday, or simply put "Friday, the 13th." This superstition costs US hundreds of millions of dollars on that particular one day, as millions avoid their normal routines on this day.

With that in the backdrop, two days from now we have the next Friday, the 13th. This time around, Friggatriskaidekaphobia is supposed to hit India too. The assembly election results in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Assam are due to be declared on Friday. Definitely one set of people are going to be believers of this superstition. Red has always been a sign of danger, but this time around a danger is seen to Red in Kerala and West Bengal, if exit polls are to be believed. BP must have risen for all the contestants and party workers. Well let their heart and brain work at least one day.

Whether Friday, the 13th affects you or not, dear politicians, our work is over. We've all voted. But spare a thought for all of us who have made you victorious - by not gathering on public roads to show your happiness blocking transport. A few of us who have voted for you might even be on our way to hospital, being extremely sick. A few of us might be tying the knot on this particular day. A few of us might be having interviews to shape up our careers, and need to catch our trains and flights on time. You have all rights to celebrate, but do find a spacious ground for that. Please, it's a request. Don't make your voters suffer from Friggatriskaidekaphobia!!.
