India have reached 88 for 1 at lunch on day 2, after bowling out Zimbabwe for 279. At least this time, the men in blue did not have to toil much to take the last wickets. Pathan was the most successful bowler with figures of 5 for 58. Zaheer took 3 for 74. Taibu was the top scorer for Zimbabwe with an unbeaten 71.
Sehwag was the only man dismissed in the Indian innings. He was out for 44 (from 49 balls). Gambhir is still there at the crease with an unbeaten 41.
